WWDC 2019 will be remembered for more than one reason. Apple introduced some sweeping changes in its ecosystem, and one of the changes is a dedicated operating system for iPads. For the first time, Apple separated its tablets from smartphones. This leads us to think about how we can update installed apps on our iPhone and iPad. Our tutorial is the answer to your question – how to update apps in iOS 13 and iPadOS.

The latest iteration of iOS has changed the way users would update apps on both devices. As a matter of fact, Apple has removed that Updates button from its App Store. If you have updated your iPhone or iPad to the latest operating system, you won’t see ‘Updates’ tab at the bottom of App Store screen; instead, Apple has replaced that tab with Arcade – Apple’s video game subscription service.

How to Update Installed Apps in iOS 13 and iPadOS

Step #1. Launch App Store on your iOS device.

Step #2. Now, tap on your Profile icon from the upper right corner of your phone screen. It’s your profile photo (or anything you have placed there) in a round button.

Step #3. Scroll down to the  ‘AVAILABLE UPDATES’ section.

Now, You can see all the apps with pending updates. You can either tap on Update All to get all the app updates or tap on UPDATE next to the app you want to update.
