Sharp Launches Six 3D Projectors

Last week, Sharp announced its entry into thsharp-projector-0110e 3D presentation market with the introduction of six (yes, six!) 3D-ready DLP BrilliantColor projectors offering 3D projection from a single projector. All six projectors incorporate DLP Link technology, which allows for 3D projection when using compatible 3D field sequential content and active shutter 3D glasses that support the DLP Link System.  These projectors offer 3D support with both 60Hz and 120Hz XGA (1024×768) and SVGA (800×600) sources and are definitely ahead of their time in that little 3D content is available for ProAV applications.

The models are (all are listed with the lumen spec and resolution):

  • PG-D45X3D – 4500 ANSI Lumens, XGA Native Resolution
  • PG-D40W3D – 4000 ANSI Lumens, WXGA Native Resolution

  • PG-D2710X – 2700 ANSI Lumens, XGA Native Resolution

All six projectors are network-ready.
