Zoom Video Communications Recognized as a 2018 Gartner Peer Insights Customers’ Choice for Meeting Solutions (Web Conferencing)

We’re proud to announce that analyst firm Gartner has recognized Zoom as a 2018 Gartner Peer Insights Customers’ Choice for Meetings Solutions (Web Conferencing). Gartner Peer Insights ranks organizations on end-user reviews and ratings. Recognition was given to seven vendors in the meeting solutions (web conferencing) category.

Criteria used by Gartner to select the awarded organizations include having at least 50 published reviews and an average overall rating of 4.2 stars or higher on Gartner Peer Insights. At press time, Zoom has 722 reviews and an average overall rating of 4.7 out of 5 stars.

“We are proud to have been recognized by our customers on Gartner Peer Insights,” says Eric S. Yuan, Zoom’s founder and CEO. “When I started Zoom in 2011, I envisioned a company that would always keep customer satisfaction and happiness as the top priority. I believe that being recognized for customer satisfaction lets me and my employees know that we’ve stuck to that vision. We will continue to work hard to deliver happiness to our customers every day.”

Here’s what some Zoom customers are saying on Gartner Peer Insights:

“Zoom has been extremely easy to set up and deploy throughout the entire environment. It is very intuitive and easy to use for all levels of usage. The platform integrates multiple service types that allowed us to consolidate and discontinue other services that were potentially under-utilized. By consolidating to one platform we believe that usage for the other types of services will rise. Zoom has been able to replace our audio conference solution, screen share solution, webinar solution, chat solution, and video conference solution. We are also able to corporate brand our Zoom platform for that personal touch. There are some firewall rules to set up for security, however we have never had an issue with connection or client-side usage. Best of all, the platform is hardware agnostic, so you can use any camera/microphone/display setup and still connect to any other videoconference platform. This also means that setting up a Zoom Room is more budget friendly without sacrificing quality. Support is easily reached and very helpful with setting everything up or just asking questions regarding services. Zoom. Works.”Director of IT in the Services Industry

“So far, the platform has worked extremely well for staff/professional development meetings, IEP meetings, and even for instruction for some students. The sound is always great, it’s user friendly, and I love how it connects to my google calendar and edits automatically with all of the meeting information so I can seamlessly invite others to attend.”Teacher in the Education Industry

“We have been able to implement Zoom smoothly as our web conferencing solution. Users have found this to be easy to learn and use right from the get go. Helpful tutorials mean we can direct users to their own solutions without a lot of outside support. Video and audio have been clear and lack the lag or echo present on other services. We have really loved the break out room features to allow for smaller group meetings within larger meetings.”Executive Director in a Miscellaneous Industry
