The Magewell Director Plus is an all-in-one live production system for professional video switching, recording and streaming. It combines multiple video inputs, 4K processing, audio mixing, graphics, recording and streaming in one portable device.

With support for HDMI, USB and IP video sources, Director Plus gives production teams the flexibility to create high-quality live content without relying on a separate computer. It is ideal for live events, sports, education, corporate presentations, houses of worship and mobile broadcast applications.

Flexible Production Inputs

Director Plus supports HDMI cameras, USB webcams, network video sources, mobile devices and media files. This allows production teams to combine local cameras, remote sources and pre-recorded content within the same workflow.

The four HDMI inputs can be used for multiple cameras, while the USB and IP inputs provide additional flexibility for webcams, PTZ cameras, NDI sources and other network-connected devices.

Record and Stream Simultaneously

Director Plus can record the programme output or capture up to four sources independently for post-production. ISO recording allows individual cameras to be edited after the event rather than relying only on a single mixed recording.

The system can also stream to up to four platforms simultaneously, making it suitable for organisations distributing live content across multiple online channels.

Designed for Mobile Production

Built-in 5G, Wi-Fi 6E, 2.5Gbps Ethernet and multi-link network bonding provide flexible connectivity for productions in studios, venues and remote locations.

The portable design and hot-swappable NP-F battery support make Director Plus suitable for outside broadcasts, sports coverage, live events and other applications where reliable, uninterrupted operation is important.
