Flexible NDI Decoding for Modator Systems
The Magewell Pro Convert for NDI to HDMI Module is a hot-swappable decoder module for the Magewell Modator 2U chassis. It converts live NDI and other supported IP streams into HDMI output for professional video and AV workflows.
Designed for scalable, centralised installations, the module decodes video streams up to 2Kp60 and can output HDMI video at resolutions up to 4096x2160p60. It is suitable for production, distribution and display applications using network video sources.

Decode and Output Network Video
The module converts live NDI streams and compatible IP video protocols into an HDMI signal for a connected display or other HDMI equipment. It supports NDI High Bandwidth and NDI HX formats alongside H.264 and H.265 streams delivered using supported protocols.
Output formats are selected according to the connected monitor’s EDID, with supported modes including 4K and lower-resolution progressive and interlaced formats.
Configuration and Management
Configure and manage the decoder through its Web UI, Magewell Control Hub or the touchscreen of the Modator chassis. The Web UI provides real-time information about the device and decoded signals, as well as controls for output settings, audio and network configuration.
NDI device discovery across network segments and HTTP APIs support integration into networked production and AV systems.

The hot-swappable module installs in the Magewell Modator 2U chassis, providing a rackmount form factor for deployments that need multiple IP video decoding modules.
Its compact design includes a Gigabit Ethernet port, HDMI 2.0 output, USB configuration and peripheral connections, and a Modator interface.
