Overview

The MiTag Detacher is the purpose-built release tool required for all MiTag hard tags. Unlike standard retail detachers, the MiTag uses an advanced multipolar magnetic mechanism that cannot be replicated by conventional magnets or hyper detachers available to shoplifters. Critically, the MiTag detacher is also backward-compatible with standard existing EAS tags, so retailers can transition to MiTag without needing to replace their existing detaching equipment or run two detachers side-by-side. Available with a countersunk screw fitting for permanent desk or counter mounting.

Technical details

MiTag requires this all-new unique magnetic detacher to release the Mitags, it also can de-tag existing security products, eliminating the need for multiple detachers in-store. Providing ease and further future-proofing for security.

MiTag offers a new lock structure to provide better performance and minimize the risk of removing the tag by slamming the tag violently or rotating the pin.
