The MiTag Pencil with Lanyard is a one-piece EAS pencil tag with a 130mm lanyard, designed for garments, footwear, and accessories that require a loop attachment rather than a direct pin. The one-piece construction means no separate pin to manage, significantly reducing tagging time on the shop floor. MiTag’s advanced multipolar locking mechanism resists standard magnets, hyper detachers, and security hooks, and the tag is released exclusively with the MiTag detacher, which is also backward-compatible with standard existing security tags. Available in AM 58 kHz and RF 8.2 MHz. Leading Solutions is the authorised New Zealand reseller.

Technical details

MiTag offers a new lock structure to provide better performance and minimize the risk of removing the tag by slamming the tag violently or rotating the pin. 

• One-piece construction significantly reduces tagging time

• MiTag requires an all-new unique magnetic detacher to release the Mitags, it also can de-tag existing security products, eliminating the need for multiple detachers in-store
