Overview

The Qbic AC-610 Seat Sensor is an under-desk occupancy sensor that uses a combined heat and motion detection algorithm to accurately determine whether a seat is idle, occupied, or someone is just passing by. Unlike traditional PIR-only sensors, the dual-sensor approach eliminates false readings from stationary occupants who are working quietly. It feeds real-time utilisation data to the Qbic desk booking system (TD-0350), helping facility managers optimise space usage and reduce energy consumption.

Key features

  • Combined PIR motion and thermal (heat) sensor for accurate occupancy detection
