Overview

The RF White Square Label with Barcode is a 40x40mm RF 8.2 MHz soft security label printed with a dummy barcode design, supplied in rolls of 1,000. It is applied directly to merchandise and deactivated at the point of sale using a compatible RF deactivator. The label is suitable for items that cannot be secured with a hard tag, such as books, cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, and DVD cases, and features a strong adhesive that bonds to most clean, smooth surfaces. Custom printing is available on request. Note: if your store uses self-checkout, the plain label (without dummy barcode) is recommended to avoid customers confusing the security label’s barcode with the actual product barcode.

No. Every label is checked before shipping, and any faulty ones are replaced. This ensures all labels you receive are fully operational.

Will the labels stick properly and perform consistently?

Yes. They feature a strong adhesive that works on most clean, smooth surfaces such as glass, plastic, and cardboard. Textured, dusty, or oily surfaces may reduce adhesion. It takes 24 hours for the bond to strengthen.

How long do the labels last?

When stored in a cool, dry environment away from sunlight, labels can remain effective for up to 2 years, maintaining both adhesion and detection reliability.

Can the labels be reused?

No. These labels are intended for one-time use to ensure consistent detection and deactivation at the point of sale.

Which frequency do the labels work on?

These labels operate on RF 8.2 MHz, compatible with standard RF electronic article surveillance (EAS) systems.

Will they work with my gates?

Yes, 40×40 mm labels provide reliable performance. 30×30 mm labels may have small deadspots if gates are 1600 mm apart, and smaller labels are not suitable.
