The Squid - Alarming Tether with Padlock End is a self-alarming security tether with a padlock-style clasp end that locks the tether to a display fixture or security loop without requiring a separate lock. Like the standard Squid Alarming Tether, it triggers a loud alarm if the cable is cut or the unit is tampered with, and is deactivated using a high-strength magnet detacher. The padlock end provides a more secure fixture attachment than a standard hook or loop.

Technical details

This anti-theft security tether is designed for securing displayed merchandise such as power tools, vacuum cleaners, and handbags. It allows customers to test the product freely within a 1400mm range while maintaining a neat and secure display.

The device can be turned on or off using a remote (Code: PBR-ULT-RC, sold separately). If the cable is cut or tampered with, an alarm will sound to immediately alert staff.

The user-friendly design allows for quick and easy battery replacement, saving time and effort.
