Collection: Surface Desk Mounts

Leading Solutions Surface desk mounts are compatible with Microsoft Surface Go (2nd, 3rd, and 4th generation) and Surface Pro (4th through 11th generation). Swivel-base and tabletop models include compatibility details in each product listing - some are generation-specific enclosures, while others use adjustable clamping arms. Contact the team at sales@leadingsolutions.co.nz to confirm compatibility for your specific device model before ordering.

A swivel-base Surface desk mount rotates 360 degrees on a central pivot, allowing the tablet to be turned towards a customer at a sales counter or reception desk, and back towards the operator for admin use. Fixed tabletop mounts hold the tablet in a single orientation for single-user applications like a self-service kiosk or POS terminal. Swivel models are ideal for interactive two-way environments; fixed models suit dedicated single-purpose deployments.

Yes. Lockable Surface desk mount models feature enclosed housings that secure the tablet using a key or Kensington-compatible lock slot. These models prevent casual or unauthorised removal of the device and are recommended for shared workspaces, public kiosks, and any environment where the Surface needs to remain secured to the desk at all times. Non-locking models are suitable for attended environments where a staff member is always present.

Yes. Surface desk mounts are widely used in New Zealand as self-check-in kiosk bases for visitor management software, healthcare intake forms, hotel concierge terminals, and employee clocking systems. A swivel-base or dual-sided enclosure mount is ideal for these applications, as it allows the screen to face visiting users without requiring staff to reposition the device. All mounts support continuous power via cable management cutouts.

Most Surface desk mounts support both portrait and landscape orientation, though some enclosure-style mounts require the back plate to be repositioned during installation to change orientation. Swivel-arm and clamp-style mounts typically allow rotation between portrait and landscape without tools. Confirm the preferred orientation with your use case (landscape for media, portrait for forms and kiosks) and check the individual product specifications.
