What types of box wraps are available in this collection?

This collection features Spider Wraps - also known as Box Wraps - designed to secure boxed merchandise of various sizes.
Ideal for protecting high-value items such as watch boxes, electronics, and even large boxed goods like vacuum cleaners, these wraps come in a range of adjustable lengths to suit small to oversized packaging. The integrated alarm triggers if tampered with or removed without authorisation, helping deter theft in busy retail environments.

Are these box wraps compatible with all security systems?

Most of our Spider Wraps - also known as Box Wraps - feature dual-frequency detection, making them compatible with both RF (Checkpoint) and AM (Sensormatic) security systems. This flexibility allows retailers to confidently integrate them into existing EAS setups without the need for system changes.
To detach the wraps at point of sale, we recommend using our dedicated detachers to ensure quick, safe, and damage-free removal by authorised staff only.

What's the difference between auto-retracting and manual retractable types?

Box Wraps come in two main types:
Auto-retracting wraps automatically wind the cable back in once detached, keeping your point of sale area neat and reducing the risk of tangled cords.
Manual retractable wraps include a small handle or dial that staff use to wind the cable back in. While effective, they can be slightly slower and may require extra care to keep your checkout area tidy.
We recommend choosing the type that best suits your store’s workflow and POS setup.

How do I know if my Box Wrap will alarm if the cables are cut?

Our Box Wraps are designed to trigger a loud alarm if the cables are cut or tampered with. When you press the button that engages the ratchet to tighten the cables, the unit emits a short chirp - this confirms that the battery has enough power to activate the alarm if needed.
To check or replace the battery, simply look underneath the Box Wrap for the battery compartment. Batteries can be easily replaced when depleted, ensuring your security device stays fully operational.
